Fintech company Onguard ranked third most successful independent Dutch software company
Amsterdam, 2 November 2018 – Onguard, a fintech software company specialising in the order-to-cash process, was awarded third prize for most successful software company during the seventh edition of the Main Software 50 Awards.
Onguard won the award for its impressive 50 per cent growth in revenue in the last year. This includes both organic growth and growth through acquisition. Moreover, results from the Main Software 50 show that Dutch software companies are growing strongly; the average growth rate of companies participating in Main Software 50 is 22 per cent.
Focus on the Future
The award-winning software company offers a fully integrated platform of software solutions. The platform ensures that the entire order-to-cash process is more efficient and effective in addition to nurturing customer relationships. According to CEO Bert van der Zwan, offering the entire platform is one of Onguard’s main success factors. “We’re very proud of this award. Over the past two years, we’ve expanded from only offering credit management software to facilitating the entire order-to-cash chain. Now that we offer many more functionalities on our platform, we’re set to continue to grow. So, we consider this award a confirmation of our new course and an accolade for the work we do every day as a team.”
Onguard is focusing on optimising the customer experience and continuing to grow internationally. This includes exploring and using the latest technologies. “Of course, we don’t just use the latest technologies for the sake of it,” says Bert van der Zwan. “We critically consider whether it really suits our customers. For example, we’re currently looking at the use of blockchain and Artificial Intelligence in our software. Using these would make it possible to accurately predict payment behaviour during a risk analysis. This is how we continue to respond to the latest technologies and needs of our customers, consequently encouraging both national and international growth.”
