What hosting packages does Onguard offer?
We offer various hosting packages through our hosting partner Rackspace. To assess which fits your organisation the best, we recommend that you discuss the different options with your trusted Onguard contact person.
How is my data secured?
You can be assured that your data is stored securely. Of course we offer you secure access via HTTPS. All links to and from the application are secured and use encrypted connections. In addition, there are periodic penetration tests to test the application for weaknesses. Rackspace performs disaster recovery tests and there are data backups at the same location and additional off-site. Our hosting partner is certified according to ISO / IEC 27001, 14001, 18001, 9001, ISAE3402 / SOC 1,2,3 and PCI DSS level 1.
Via the extensive monitoring tools of the API platform, Onguard can guarantee that the exchange of data is carried out correctly without disturbing the user experience. Any faults are detected and resolved proactively.
The associated identity server ensures correct authorization and compliance with security protocols in accordance with the current standard. The identity server also allows Onguard to introduce single sign-on and two-step authentication.
In the future, the identity server will be further developed to be able to synchronize with the customer's active directory, so that central employee management for Onguard applications can be arranged centrally.
Will Onguard solutions connect to my current ERP system?
CreditManager can be used as an extension of your ERP system. By using the two systems alongside each other, you benefit from having a single place to house all relevant debtor and invoice data.
Is it on-premise or cloud solution?
Onguard offers a hosted, cloud solution where organisations can use all the functions of the chosen solution via an external network connection.
How many languages are offered in the Onguard solutions?
Onguard Solutions is available in 7 default languages; Dutch, English, German, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese. However, more languages can be made available upon request.
Do Onguard solutions use Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
Yes, Onguard uses AI, or artificial intelligence, in its solutions to manage entire processes. This involves tasks or assignments, such as classifying customers for risks. AI ensures that all financial information is up-to-date and real-time transparency, so that the finance professional can really focus on analysis and strategy. Work that has already been automated for the credit manager and other finance professionals in the past can be extended with AI. Consider, for example, segmenting people or groups according to certain risks. Rules are defined in the traditional way and transferred into business rules. With AI, the system can make segmentations itself based on data. Customers are divided on the basis of certain patterns. But assessing whether a customer is creditworthy can also be improved with AI. Previously, assessment rules were very black and white and credit managers had to assess the "gray area". However, AI can make new connections to reduce this gray area. So also on the basis of credit acceptance, AI is a valuable addition. Finally, with AI it is possible to predict certain events, such as which customer will have a delay in his payments.
Do Onguard solutions use Big data?
Yes, a large amount of data is collected within Onguard's solutions. Not only general customer data, but also data on, for example, payment behavior. With advanced analysis, it is possible for employees in the credit management department to predict whether a customer will be behind in payments or to what extent a customer will not pay at all.The analysis can advise the credit manager to provide a certain credit, in part or even not at all. Big data helps to predict a cash flow problem at an early stage and helps credit managers anticipate this. Thanks to big data it is possible to prevent fraud in advance. By releasing complex analysis on the data, characteristics or patterns can be identified that detect fraud. For example, a sudden deviation in the payment behavior of the debtor can be discovered.
Do Onguard solutions use Robotics Process Automation (RPA)?
Yes, Robotics Process Automation (RPA) also offers enormous opportunities for finance. It is aimed at performing tasks exactly like a human user, but faster and without errors. When deploying RPA, it is important that tasks are simple and repetitive. Consider, for example, invoicing where invoices from hundreds of customers are automatically entered and processed in the system, regardless of the file format. Onguard's MatchMaker automatically matches at least 80% of the invoices with incoming payments based on algorithms. Bank transaction processing is also automatically booked on the basis of recognition (for example, the customer number or description). Compiling reports from systems is also done via RPA.
