Bert van der Zwan
On June 1st 2016 Bert van der Zwan took over CEO position at Onguard from former CEO and Founder David Taylor.Drawing on his extensive finance and IT experience, Bert will build on the company’s growth and continue to enable businesses, across multiple sectors, to improve the health of their working capital.Bert has held a number of successful leadership roles in companies such as WebEx, Twinfield, Rally, Cisco and Unit4; and has contributed to impressive international expansions and successfully took Rally software public. In February 2015, he assumed the position of Chairman of the Onguard Board where he was able to further understand Onguard’s vision, goals and solutions.Van der Zwan: “I’m very excited to be leading Onguard into its next chapter. We hope to build more resilient businesses by reducing the risks associated with cash flow, which is vital to global firms in times of uncertainty. This, alongside my experience in expanding international companies, means there are some really exciting years ahead.”
Marieke Saeij joined Onguard in 2016 as CTO. As an experienced and innovative IT professional with over 15 years of experience working on Software delivery within large international companies, like ADP and Wolters Kluwer, Marieke is specialized in connecting strategy, architecture and people within an organization. She is Management 3.0; adept and an Agile and Scrum enthusiast with a pragmatic approach to business. Marieke is focused on delivering increased value and innovation through the development and motivation of engineering talent.“My helicopter view connects the technical structure within a company with the needed strategic changes in order to be more competitive, deliver better products, stimulate continuous improvement and achieve higher client satisfaction”.
Raymon van Viegen
Raymon van Viegen joined Onguard in April 2018 as CFO. Van Viegen has more than 15 years experience in the IT and finance sector. After working for several accountancy firms at the start of his career, he later switched to the client side working for companies such as Emesa, (the parent of VakantieVeilingen.nl) and LeaseWeb. At both organisations Van Viegen implemented efficient automation and quality enhancement solutions that greatly improved the performance of the finance teams.At Onguard Van Viegen again faces the challenge of improving performance and accelerating growth: “I am delighted to be part of the Onguard management team. Helping companies drive growth and take business to the next level is tremendously rewarding.”
Martin de Heus
Martin de Heus started working for Onguard in 2011, first as a Sales Consultant and as of 2016 as Sales Manager. In February 2018 he joined the Management Team as VP Sales. Prior to Onguard he worked at Graydon where he was introduced to the beautiful world of credit management in all its aspects: credit information, collections and software. Martin is passionate about this business and strives to share his passion with customers, prospects and colleagues. Together with his dedicated team he is always aiming for the best for their customers.Martin is enthusiastic about Onguard's opportunities; to continue leading in innovative credit management software and offer the best possible solutions to existing and new customers worldwide. Martin is committed to adding value to customer’s organisations and helping them as needed.
Floor Stam, started April 2017 as Vice President Marketing. She developed the new branding, positioning and marketing strategy of Onguard. In addition to the professionalization of the marketing and communication activities and optimization of the marketing/sales funnel.Floor has broad experience in IT and B2B marketing and is a strong believer in content-driven multichannel marketing. “To develop and market a new branding and strategy is the dream of every marketer. The biggest challenge is to establish a strong platform, adding value to our customers and therefore helping them grow their business as we grow ours.”
VP Customer Success
Stephan Schoon joined Onguard in 2010 as Team Leader Service Centre. In 2015 he joined the Management Team as VP Customer Success. Stephan has broad experience in IT and Coaching and has held a number of successful roles at companies such as Nobel van Dijk & Partners, Dutchview and as assistant head coach of the Dutch Paralympic swimming team. Stephan’s specialities include Customer Experience Management, ITIL, Service Management and people management.“Quality is when we achieve the customer’s expectation. But we are trying to create a service aptitude where we recognize opportunities to exceed the customer’s expectations. I am a strong believer of H2H (Human 2 Human) instead of B2C or B2B, Bringing Humanity Back to Business.”
Daniel van den Hoven

“My mission is achieved when the right mix of channel partners is in place so a partner’s eco-system is reached.”Daniël has over 20 years of experience in the field of indirect sales. For his former employers, such as Cisco/WebEx, Twinfield and VANAD Group, channel partners have always been an important part for the marketing-, sales-, and support activities. Daniel used this experience to build a successful indirect sales channel in his former position as VP at VANAD Aloha. “My mission is succeeded when the right mix of channel partners are on board and thereby provide a partner ecosystem that enables Onguard's customers to find the solutions they need to be competitive themselves."
Manager Professional Services
Wolter joined Onguard in 2011 as a Consultant. After having served the company for nearly seven years, he took the step to join the Management Team in 2018 as Manager Professional Services.According to Kreun, this step is in line with Onguard’s ambition: ‘The Professional Services department works on the software implementation process, both nationally and internationally. Our consultants are on-location with our customers daily and see how they use the software. The MT deems this information relevant because it allows us to enhance the way our strategy and business operations contribute to the success of our customers.’ The experience Kreun gained while working as an application manager and technical consultant created a deep understanding of our customers’ needs.
