Fintech Barometer: insights and trends in order-to-cash in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands between 2018 and 2021
In recent years, the Visma | Onguard Fintech Barometer has grown into an indicator of the credit management and order-to-cash landscape. For those who are not yet familiar with it: the Fintech Barometer is an extensive annual survey of financial professionals, which we have now conducted in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom for four consecutive years. In it, financial professionals answer questions about payment behaviour, the application of fintech, which technologies they expect to see a lot of and the pace at which their organisations are actually managing to embrace that technology. This yields some interesting findings.
4 years of insights and trends
This year, we are going a step further. After four years of research, we have now collected so much data that we can chart developments over the years. This has given us insight into a range of interesting trends, such as, the technology trends being most widely embraced, and how developments on both sides of The Channel differ from each other. Despite the many similarities in the order-to-cash process, financial professionals in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom face different challenges, set different priorities, and see different developments. So now, we would like to share these insights with you.
