Marieke Saeij succeeds current CEO Bert van der Zwan as of November 1st
Amsterdam, 16 Oct 2019 – Marieke Saeij has been appointed to CEO of order-to-cash specialist Onguard, effective as of November 1st. Saeij has been the CTO at Onguard for three years and is the successor of Bert van der Zwan, who held the positions of Chairman of the Board and CEO for over four years. Van der Zwan will continue to be involved in several other boards within the portfolio of Main Capital, Onguard’s investors.
In her role as CTO, Saeij has been leading Onguard’s transition from a supplier of credit management software to an intelligent software platform for order-to-cash solutions. Main Capital’s decision to appoint Marieke to continue this transition was therefore the natural progression. Pieter van Bodegraven, Partner at Main Capital: “Marieke is a strong professional with over 15 years’ experience in software at large international companies. We believe she, together with the management team, will continue to build on Onguard’s growth. The company’s main focus will continue to address innovation and supporting businesses to improve their working capital.”
Saeij will be focusing on further international growth and expanding the platform by integrating new best-of-breed solutions and intelligent technologies, like AI, to help even more companies in their digital transformation.
