Onguard extending their market presence with new additions to Sales and Business Development
After September 1st, Onguard will have added two new faces to their Sales and Marketing departments. The appointments of Nicole Xavier and Martin Williams aim to further facilitate growth and market presence in the UK and German markets.
Onward to European market leader
Nicole has more than 15 years experience in the software/IT industry in a variety of (channel) sales and management roles. While working for companies such as Quest Software (Dell), Jaspersoft (Tibco), Rally Software (CA) and Atlassian, she has continuously broadened her knowledge and skills and kept in pace up with an ever-evolving industry. Her passion for prospecting, customer relations and working with internal stakeholders make her the perfect candidate to optimise the marketing/sales funnel in her role as Business Development Representative. Furthermore, as a native German speaker, Nicole will help broaden Onguard’s opportunities in the German market. “I am looking forward to working with the marketing team and join a market leader with an established innovative solution.”
VP of Marketing Floor Stam is anticipating Nicole’s arrival. “Nicoles experience in business development is exactly what our team needs. She will help us expand our marketing activities and become a European market leader!”
Expanding UK market strategy
Martin has 7 years experience within software sales, with roles at large organisations such as Intuit and more recently Sage. His most recent experience lies within the HRIS market – selling into multiple verticals including the Finance Sector. “I take pride in working with businesses to improve their technology systems to increase efficiency and reduce time spent on daily admin that should be spent on more important duties. I’m looking forward to being part of the growing UK team at Onguard as UK Sales Representative. I hope to push not only the Onguard message out there to the UK market but Credit Management and order-to-cash in general, moving businesses away from manual and dated methods.”
VP Sales Martin de Heus states, “As the UK is traditionally Onguard’s home market, we have a presence there already. The addition of Martin will further sustain and expand our footprint.”
