Onguard announces Tim Blok as new CTO
Amsterdam – Onguard, the FinTech company dedicated to redefining the order-to-cash payment process, has announced the appointment of Tim Blok as the company’s new chief technology officer (CTO) as of September 1st. In his new position, Blok will be focused on the platform’s future innovation, drawing on his technical expertise, experience at the company and his ability to translate the needs of the market into technology. The new appointment of Blok ensures that Marieke Saeij can fully focus on her work as CEO, having previously holding a dual CEO/CTO role.
Experience on all levels
Blok benefits from 13 years of experience at Onguard, having worked his way up through the company as a software developer, developer lead and team lead. Blok says, “I’m passionate about Onguard as a company, and delighted to have been able to grow throughout my career here. I am looking forward to taking the platform to the next level, with the support of the entire development team.
