Marieke Saeij as a Business Leader
During her tenure as CTO for Onguard, Marieke reorganised the way software was developed. She aligned business vision and strategy with day-to-day work and improved the quality of software to achieve higher customer satisfaction and cultivate organisational excellence. As a result, Onguard’s own CreditManager is industry-leading in the Netherlands and rapidly growing its presence in the UK and the rest of the world.
Her experience as CTO offers her a unique perspective as the newly appointed CEO of Onguard. The role requires a high level of communication and organisation, aligning strategic goals with the understanding that comes with developing software and listening to your stakeholders and customers. She understands the impact technologies like big data and artificial intelligence have on industries, while continuously striving to integrate them into Onguard’s working software. Her emphasis on innovation is helping to evolve Onguard within credit management and the order-to-cash industry.
Marieke is the embodiment of a people’s CEO. Her open-door policy and approachability create an atmosphere which truly fosters creativity, innovation and the technological advancement of Onguard software. Onguard has achieved increasing growth and success in the last 2 years under the leadership and command of Marieke as both CTO and now CEO.
Credit Week 2020
After months of uncertainty, the Credit Summit, now the Credit Festival, is back November 3rd-6th. Due to the current global climate, the Credit Festival has been condensed into 4 1-week conferences – all on a virtual platform! The first week is the Credit Week, where Onguard will participate in the Trade Credit stream. The diverse conference streams ensure that there is always something for everyone. Representatives from Onguard will be available all day in our virtual exhibition booth to explain our vision, our product suite and order-to-cash proposition.
