How can we help you?
You can also browse the topics below to find what you are looking for.
What is risk management?
Risk management starts at the beginning of the order-to-cash chain. It means taking the necessary steps, using big data, Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning, to make informed and intelligent decisions that help you avoid unpleasant surprises and possible problems with your customers and their payments.
What is e-invoicing?
After the order has been placed and you have checked whether there are risks associated with this customer, you can invoice the order. This is often done electronically, via e-invoicing. The software transforms invoice data into a format requested by the customer and automates the delivery of invoices via any desired channel. This gives your customers the option to pay how and when they want. Customers are happy and pay faster. Visma | Visma | Onguard offers its customers a highly advanced and integrated solution within the order-to-cash platform.
What is a payment link?
A payment link is a way to request payment from customers who are paying for your goods or services sent to customers via email, Whatsapp, text message, or any other digital/online channel of communication that you use with your customer. Once those customers click the payment button they’re taken to a payment page showing the amount due. There they can securely fill in billing and shipping information and complete the payment.
Can we send communication with a payment link?
Integrating a payment link in your dunning process ensures that your customers can pay easily and securely, and can help to rapidly reduce the overall time to payment. It allows you to accept payments from customers no matter where you or they operate. Regardless of the situation, you would like to use a user-friendly solution to handle the payment in the most flexible and efficient way. Whether it’s an invoice process, a collecting process or a mobile transaction. Together with our partners, we integrate and connect our tools to provide you with the best possible solution. Some of our partners support the integration of payment links within CreditManager, making it possible to e-mail manual and batch reminders that already include the payment link. When a scheduled communication action is processed in CreditManager, a data file is created and can be sent to your communication partner. This file can be further extended with payment links, which enables you to send reminders with a payment link using different communication channels. Additional payment feedback can be imported back into CreditManager.
Can I send invoices through WhatsApp?
When you use the Visma | Onguard platform, your customers always have the opportunity to make omni-channel payments via SMS, WhatsApp or email, for instance. And if a customer is having trouble paying, the integration with bailiffs and collection agencies makes it possible to hand over a file directly.
What is cash allocation?
Payment processing or cash allocation is the processing of incoming payments and outstanding debtor invoices. Visma | Onguard’s intelligent payment processing software MatchMaker uses AI and big data to automate at least 80% of this process. This saves a lot of time, so that credit managers can concentrate on the exceptions. Payment processing is also referred to as reconciliation.
What is collections management?
Debt collection is an integral part of the order-to-cash process that ensures the collection of outstanding debts with the use of a debt collection agency. For various reasons, traditional payment reminders may fail to secure payments from debtors. In this case, payment collection requires a different approach. Deb collections management addresses, follows up and handles unpaid invoices. Visma | Onguard's collections and bailiffs software, CaseControl handles these invoices on a case-by-case basis.
What is bailiff?
Bailiffs are authorised to collect debts on behalf of creditors and have more power than debt collection agencies. For example, a bailiff can serve a summons, obtain an attachment of earnings order against a person’s salary and remove possessions from a property. Bailiffs take these steps in an attempt to ensure that creditors receive the money they are owed. The Visma | Onguard order-to-cash platform includes integrated links to bailiffs and law firms that enable your organisation (or its debt collection agency) to share files and monitor the debt collection process. Visma | Onguard CaseControl can be used at the final stage of the order-to cash process.
