The 15th Credit Congress & Expo in Nashville: A very interesting and successful event!
NACM's Credit Congress is the largest annual gathering of business credit professionals in the United States. At the Gaylord Opryland hotel all large companies in the field of credit management were present. Just like last year, OnGuard was present with a stand to inform everybody about the credit, collections and complaints management software OnGuard offers.
The Grand Opening on Sunday of the Credit Congress & Expo was by Tom Flick, a former professional NFL football player. He spoke about how to become peak performers, both personally and professionally. He recognizes that meeting the challenges of today’s business environment requires a committed workforce. By providing actionable solutions that move people to peak performance, they will have a beneficial impact that also registers on a company’s bottom line.
The Credit Congress was a nice combination of sessions, meetings, courses and other gatherings. General and educational sessions were alternated, which made it very interesting for the visitors of the Credit Congress. Brian Shappel, a writer for the NACM stated that “Technology Front of Mind Among Credit Congress Attendees”. The need of technology for credit professionals was explicitly mentioned. Credit professionals continued to be asked to ‘do more with less’.
Therefore there were also a lot of credit management software companies present at the Expo. OnGuard was present here with a stand. The Expo gives companies the opportunity to display themselves and get in touch with their potential clients. At the OnGuard stand there was a lot of activity, lots of visitors who were curious about the products OnGuard sell. New leads were attained, relationships were renewed and the credit management, collections and complaints management products of OnGuard were demonstrated thoroughly.
After the Expo the relationships were built on further at restaurants and bars. Close relationships were made, not only with potential clients but also with our partner Euler Hermes. OnGuard and Euler Hermes struck up a close friendship and spent a large amount of social time together, but also working as a partnership on potential prospects.
Afterwards we can conclude that it was a very successful event.
