As part of the European rollout of OnGuard within the Avis Group, Avis Portugal and Avis Spain went live last month. The successful implementation was celebrated with all the stakeholders at Castle Nederhorst, home of OnGuard.
Car rental company Avis, is the largest car rental company in Europe, Africa, Middle-East and Asia. They have over 30 years of experience in the car rental industry, with over 8 million customers per year that use their services. Avis has a network of 112 countries.. A group-wide blueprint is partly used to simplify the reporting on a group level. In addition, there was of course room for country-specific installation requirements.
OnGuard was quickly embraced in both countries. The advantages compared to the manual way of working are significant. Two weeks ago there was a drink for all concerned at Castle Nederhorst to reflect on the succesfull implementation. There are also two other countries that will be implementing OnGuard in the future,Italy and Switzerland.
