CCR Credit Excellence Awards 2011
On Tuesday 4 October the CCR-Interactive, a one-day conference in the credit industry, took place in the Tower Hotel in London. During this event all credit professionals were brought together for six delegate streams. Lots of knowledge and experience were shared with colleagues from the credit industry
The event started with a networking breakfast and offered several round tables, meetings and sales presentations. To make sure the attendees can focus on their own field of work, the conference was divided into six streams: commercial credit, consumer credit, collections, risk, legal & enforcement and an international stream. Each stream had several speakers, such as Philip King (chief executive of the Institute of Credit Management) and professors in Credit Management. The economic keynote speaker of this day was Trevor Williams, chief economist of Lloyds Banking Group.
After the conference the evening started with a delightful diner and followed by the Credit Excellence Awards. OnGuard was very proud to be nominated as a finalist for the category International Credit Management, one of the eight categories. Other categories were Newcomer to the Credit Industry, Commercial Credit Management, Consumer Credit Management, Collections, Risk, Legal and Enforcement and Contribution to the Credit Industry.
Although OnGuard did not win the award, it was a very interesting and valuable evening. We would like to congratulate all winners of the Credit Excellence Awards.
