ICTF's New York Global Trade Forum
Last Thursday the ICTF’s New York Global Trade Forum took place in the Yale Club of New York City. A small networking event for people in the credit management branch in New York. The event consisted of a networking luncheon, a presentation and an open forum discussion.
OnGuard attended this event to connect with others in the branch. The main speaker of this afternoon was William Lee, Managing Director on the Global Chief Economist Team, Citi Investment Research & Analysis. He brought up many things to consider– how China’s becoming a more internally focused economy, how the credit crunch is more devastating in Europe because they’re more bank dependent than here in the US.
The afternoon ended with an Open Forum Discussion led by Paul Angeli of One Source Risk Management. It was a well visited an interesting afternoon, with lots of people within the credit management branch.
