Share experiences
Judith Verloop, Hylke van der Velde (both from OnGuard), Alfred Strop (Atos Origin) and 11 OnGuard users  came together at Sita UK. Alfred's experiences with the User Group in the Netherlands triggered a discussion of the objectives and pitfalls of a UK Usergroup.

Andy Scholes, Chris Eldergill and Bernice Wilkinson started the meeting with an introduction to SITA and their policies and profiles regarding Credit and Dispute management. Judith Verloop, Operations Director of OnGuard presented the future of OnGuard in the United Kingdom. As a special guest, Alfred Strop; key member of the Dutch user group and Cash Manager within Atos Origin, shared his experiences and pitfalls of the recent 4 years in the Netherlands. A good discussion the objectives of a user group resulted in a clear direction of what is desired. One of the key factors is to learn from each other and zoom in on certain areas and tools of OnGuard. Tony McCormick, Credit Manager of Alcontrol quotes: “Excellent day that can lead to an established platform where we as users can share our experiences and make an impact with regards the future development of OnGuard.”

Future
After the official part, conversations continued during a great dinner at the seaside of Weston-Super-Mare. The next meeting will be held at the location of Alcontrol Laboratories in Hawarden near Chester. The scope of this meeting will be reporting with OnGuard.
